Alien Contact

There are various hypothesis about the nature of a direct contact between the Human races and Extraterrestrials intelligences or aliens.

The alien invasion is a common theme in science fiction stories and film, in which extraterrestrial life invades Earth to either exterminate and supplant human life, enslave it under a colonial system, harvest humans for food, or destroy the planet altogether.

On the contrary, disclosure is a term used by UFO enthusiasts to call government bodies to release information on the advanced technologies that were allegedly gained from the study of the captured spacecraft. Such technologies would enable the world to overcome its current woes (pollution, hunger, global warming ...)
